How to fly into space with a stick?!?

1. Get a long piece metal, beam, or a long, long stick. Throw it
2. Quickly get hold of it while its in air. Keep holding.
3. Congratulations! You're now in space
4. U MAD ASTRONAUTS?

Hey! This is pretty cool. It goes with Newton's law of motion! If something starts moving, it will move forever, unless something stops it! (But I don't wanna fly to the depth of space like crazy and just keep flying...) :)
